FLAXSEED CRACKERS

These NO CARB crackers are my new pantry staple! I love that you can add whatever you want to them and have so many different flavors!

Best of all, flaxseeds have so many added benefits:
they're loaded with nutrients such as lignans which have antioxidant properties 
they're high in omega 3s
they're rich in fiber
they may lower cholesterol
they may help control blood sugar

The basis for this recipe is 1 cup of ground flax seeds and 1/2 cup of water! You can add you're own seasoning! My favorite is EBTB seasoning or cinnamon raison! Once you combine all of your ingredients together roll out the dough evenly and cut into equal pieces! It should make about 20 crackers! Bake in the oven at 375 for 20-25 minutes!

Did you know these amazing crackers are kosher for passover as well! Although delicious, most matzo has very little fiber! These crackers contain 7g of fiber per serving! 

For your "bagel crackers" add 1 tbs garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tbs sesame seeds (black and white) and sprinkle with EBTB seasoning!

If you're looking for a sweet cracker, check out this cinnamon raison combo! Add lots of cinnamon, 1/4 cup of raisons, and 2 stevia packets to your flaxseeds! This cracker is delicious with some cream cheese or your favorite jam!
